Open Enrollment for the 2026-2007 School Year closed March 31, 2026.

Open enrollment is available for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. The purpose of this process is to increase students’ access to educational opportunities within Sumter School District. Acceptance is based on program availability and grade level/school capacity.

Transfer Out of District Options

An out-of-zone transfer request is available to students in kindergarten through 12th grade to address situations that occur outside of the open enrollment process to include hardships. Documentation must be provided to support the request.
